Teenage Tradition

On the last day of high school, all of Torino's teenagers head straight for the fountains of Piazza Castello and proceed to have a monstrous water fight. It's tradition.
Getting wet head to toe is a rite of passage, a way of blowing off steam and the official start of summer.
Apparently if you are not wet enough your friends will help you out.

It certainly looks as if fun was had by one and all! Was it a coincidence that you were there?

LindyLou,
No coincidence, I knew this day was coming and it happens right outside my house. When I saw them gathering I went out to take a few snaps!

Sheila,
Hooray!!! I honored! I'll be sure and check out all 10.

i remember last year the music in Piazza castello on that day was the best I'd heard in Torino in a long long time. Kids were having a ball.
